The tables are out there, but don’t just waltz in expecting one to be ready and waiting like a cold beer after a long shift.
''Be smart. Call ahead. Some of these places have other priorities—darts, music, Sunday roasts. You show up unannounced and find the table missing? That’s on you, not The Swayze or The Gyll.
''A few spots are members-only, some are strictly local affairs, and some tables? Well, they’re tucked away, waiting for match night. The leads, the coins—they might be locked up. But hey, fortune favours the polite. Ask, and you just might get a game. If they want a deposit for the coins, don’t take it personally. And watch your step—some of these floors have seen better days.
